Irish Stew

The Irish stew has other names as well. The other names or “Bally maloe”, and “Stobhach Gaelach”. For the history of the Irish stew, there is not that much history behind it. The stew first appeared in an written format of the recipe first appeared in the 18th century to make it available for people. It was originally made to make meals available for people and to use the leftover that people had in their house. Plus, people cannot always afford everything for every recipe. You just have to use what is in your household. The original recipe was made with mutton. The version of the Irish stew was adding later to the recipe with other added ingredients. Such as carrots, turnips, and parsnip.
In today’s Irish stew, people started to add or substitute ingredients in the Irish stew. In the previous paragraph. People started to add carrots, parsnips, and turnips. Also, people were starting to substitute mutton to other available meats, such as beef in their stews. Their are other food that Ireland is known for, such as Irish Coffee. There are few different version of the Irish Coffee. The Irish Coffee was created in winter in 1943. It was created by chef Joe Sheridan. He created in Ireland of course. To be more precise, he was in Foynes Port near Limerick, Ireland.
The Irish Coffee Has is whiskey, hot coffee, brown sugar, and whipped cream. This drink basically just combing the ingredients.
