Sweden
Sweden has many traditional dishes. Some of the food has been around since the Viking colonized it back in B.C. Their are other influences on the Sweden Cruise as well, such as France and Italy. The way that France influences their cuisine is by sauces. Take their Swedish meatball, it has given their meatball more flavor.
Raksmorgas
The Raksmorgas consistency of boiled egg slices, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. It is often top with creamy romsas. The creamy romsas is a crème fraiche blended with dill sprigs and roe.

Semla
There is not much history behind the Semla. It's a traditional desert. There another name of Semla called the Semlor. When it was first developed in Swedish history. It was first record in the 1800s in Swedish history. It was only 200 years ago when it was recorded on actual paper. The name for the Semla at the time was “Fastlagsbullar”. This was the first recording according to Lent Bun's website. Besides when it was first recorded, the earliest known Semla was in the 14 century. It was during this 3-day feast that would happen before this 40 day fast. People in Sweden try to eat what they want before this fast that was before Easter. The main reason this dessert why this dessert was invented was because people did not have to overeat desserts. The food that is Semla is a bun that is filled with a pastry cream that has an almond flavor to it.
